Excellent Santa Barbara Wedding Location

On July 10^th, in the lush setting of the Santa Barbara Zoo’s Palm Garden, an excellent Santa Barbara wedding location, Kelley and Rohith joined their hands in marriage, bringing together not just each other but their rich cultural heritages. The Palm Garden brimmed with vibrant greenery, which contrasted all the more beautifully with the wedding party’s bright whites and exotic accent colors. This already gorgeous Santa Barbara wedding location exceeded expectations this day by furnishing nothing but clear skies and lilting clouds. 

From Rohith’s Indian background the couple embraced such traditions as the bride’s henna tattoo and the groom’s traditional Indian garb. The Henna Caravanaccomplished a stunning recreation of lace from Kelley’s strapless wedding gown. This personal touch accented Kelley’s look, providing a distinctive addition to the simple elegance of wearing a strand of pearls that the bride also donned. The wedding ceremony itself continued to blend their cultures in a unique and meaningful way for the couple. #

Kelley’s close friend, Ann Van de Water, served as the Ceremony Officiant, who led the couple through a personal interpretation of both Indian and western vows. Standing under a canopy of yellow, blue and white flowers, these two exchanged heartfelt expressions of their love for each other.

In addition to the overwhelming beauty of the Santa Barbara Zoo, this couple indulged in the other irresistible attraction of having one’s wedding at the Zoo: animals! Not only the genius photographer Willa Kveta capture the couple’s first kiss and first dance as Mr. and Mrs., but she also caught another first: the exotically blissful moment when the couple fed their first giraffe. Amazing!

Under a bright Sunday morning sky, the soft blue and decadent gold of the wedding reception, which took place at the Zoo’s Hill Top, lulled the wedding party into a lighthearted celebration of the new couple. Everyone, bedecked in sunglasses, enjoyed the delicious food from ZooCatering Services by Rincon, and danced their way into the magnificent SoCal afternoon at this amazing Santa Barbara wedding location.
